Every successful startup begins with a good idea, but not every good idea is ready to become a business. Before investing time, effort, and resources, it is important to determine whether a business idea is practical and has the potential to succeed.

This course introduces the basics of conducting a simple feasibility study to help you evaluate a business idea. Using beginner-friendly tools and practical activities, you will learn how to assess market demand, operational requirements, and basic financial considerations to determine whether your proposed venture is feasible.

By the end of the course, you will have completed a simple feasibility study report for a business idea of your choice. The knowledge and skills gained from this module will provide a solid foundation for developing business ideas and making informed entrepreneurial decisions.

Learning Objectives: 

At the end of this module, learners should be able to:

  1. Explain startup readiness and the purpose of a feasibility study.
  2. Identify target markets, customer needs, and competitors through basic market analysis.
  3. Estimate startup costs, pricing, potential profit, and outline simple business operations.
  4. Evaluate the viability of a business idea and create a simple feasibility study report.

The original signed certificate may be claimed physically at the ViCARP Office at Visayas State University. If you are unable to claim it personally, you may request delivery through LBC or any preferred courier service (shipping fees and arrangements may apply).
